UK AstroBuySell was launched on July 9, 2003 and is owned an operated by Elsie.
Elsie spends lots of time ensuring the web site is running smoothly, always checking on new user registrations, reviewing advert content, featuring adverts, watching out for fraudulent adverts, and searching for new sponsors. AstroBuySell is Elsie's other "full time job" since she is a stay-at-home mom.

The site's webmaster is Paul and in late 2012 he celebrated 30 years as an amateur astronomer. Paul looks after the technical aspect of the website and does so strictly on a volunteer basis because he enjoys operating websites, coding, and helping the amateur astronomy community. AstroBuySell is Paul's other hobby.
