|Stolen 12" Newtonian|
Thanks to Peter Drew I have a further update on this telescope:
The Telescope was made by Rob Miller of the then Astrosystems in Luton. The telescope was a special 12" F3.5 photographic Newtonian with a full aperture optical window to support the secondary mirror, this would make it relatively unique.
I have an update on this. The Newtonian is green in colour. It may also have had an eyepiece in it when stolen.
If I may please I would like to post this in case it appears on here or someone hears anything.
In Leeds a recently deceased persons property has been targeted by thieves and a 12" Newtonian stolen from a pier in an observatory. The persons granddaughter asks if anyone is offered one for sale to please contact her, Jayne Garbutt, she has a FB account.
